On 18 May 2017, Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico e Industrial (CDTI) will organize an Info Day on the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) initiative and its 2017 Call for proposals, in Madrid, Spain.
The programme will start with introductory remarks by Guillermo Álvarez, Head of Societal Challenges Department at CDTI, followed by José Manuel González, SC2 and BBI JU Delegate who will present the framework of BBI JU in the Bioeconomy Strategy.
Following that, Paloma Mallorquín, BBI JU Project Officer, will present the state of play of BBI JU, strategic orientations and novelties of the programme, the BBI JU Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2017 and Call conditions and rules for participation.
Marta Conde, from the NCP SC 2 will shed some light on how to write a good proposa - BBI JU vs H2020. This presentation will be followed by a discussion about participants experience, moderated by Marta Conde and a Q&As session.
The afternoon session will have 5-minutes flash presentations by companies and research organisations, moderated by Jesús Escudero, a wrap-up session and bilateral meetings with NCPs to discuss project proposals.
The participation is free but registration is mandatory.
